Rosacea means “red as a rose”

What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin reaction. It manifests itself in redness (flushing), burst vessels, swelling, bumps and pus. In addition, you are sensitive to stimuli from the inside and outside. The skin feels warm, it can itch and give a burning sensation. Rosacea is combined with couperosis, dilated blood vessels whose walls have slackened and the vessels no longer narrow. It usually develops on the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead and can be mild or severe.

How does rosacea develop?
The cause often lies in the intestines, in addition, heredity and environmental factors play a role. In addition, the Demodex mite plays a role in the inflammatory response. Rosacea usually develops between the ages of 30 and 50. A good healthy intestinal flora keeps the skin healthy.
